Wait!

Are you enjoying your life?!

Sometimes life is hard. Sometimes it is so hard that it feels too tough to continue. Sometimes, it feels as if the only option is to end it call, to commit suicide. I am here to say “Wait!”

Suicide can feel like an option when it appears that you have exhausted all other options. Or when it feels like how you are feeling will be how you will always feel. Or that the situation that you are in, you will always be in.

Again, I am here to say, “Wait!” If there is one thing that I can say for sure about everyone and every situation is that things always change. Nothing stays the same always. No feelings last forever. One thing that we can count on is that whatever is going on will end.

You will not always feel this way. The situation that you are currently in you will not be in forever. It is only now. Tomorrow or the next day or the next month or the next year, it will be different. I have seen over and over again that what comes next is better. People tell me repeatedly that they are so glad that they did not make the choice to commit suicide, because what they have now is so good.

So, please, wait! Things will change. Things will improve. Do not make a permanent solution of a temporary problem. Reach out and get help. Help is available now. Today. Here is the number of the National Suicide Hotline. 1-800-273-8255.

Wait. Please. It gets better.
